UniUploader Installer problems
Corrupted or Incomplete Installer
If you've downloaded the installer from our web site and get the following error message:
The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete. This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus. You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy. It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch (NOT RECOMMENDED).
Here are some things you can try from the NSIS Wiki (NSIS is the tool used to create the UniUploader installer):
Follow these steps for each case to get rid of the error.
- Disable any download accelerators and download the installer again.
- Update any active anti-virus and download the installer again.
- Disable any active anti-virus and download the installer again.
- Download the installer from another source. It might be corrupted on the server, or the connection to the server is unreliable.
- Download the installer using another computer and copy it to the original computer using a reliable media.
- Rename the installer so it is a simple one-word name with no special characters (without removing the .exe suffix)

Configuration Issues
If you have UniUploader installed, but you aren't getting the guild standard addons automatically installed, or your profile is not being updated on the roster, try the following.
First, make sure UniUploader is running by looking for the UniUploader icon in the lower right corner of your main Windows screen:
If it's not there, start UniUploader from the Start menu. If you can't find it in the Start menu, make sure that it's installed (run the installer again, if you're not sure). The installer should automatically run UniUploader, so you shouldn't have to start it manually unless you closed its window at some point. If there is more than one UniUploader icon, right click on each of them and select Exit, then start UniUploader from the Start menu to make sure there is exactly one copy running.
Once you've verified that there is only one copy running, double click the icon in the lower right to open the configuration window. There, make sure your account name is selected where it says Select WOW Account.
Then, if you only see the two tabs in the picture above, click the Advanced Mode button to go into advanced mode. Go to the Updater tab, and set it up as shown below:
You can copy/paste the following URL into the Synchronization URL field:
http://www.servantsofseagis.org/uniadmin/interface.php
Finally, click the Synchronize button, and all the other settings in UniUploader should be automatically configured, and any missing addons will be automatically downloaded and installed. At this point, you may optionally go back to the first tab and click on Simple Mode button to return UniUploader to the basic UI.
IMPORTANT: When you are done, do NOT close the window. Rather, click the minimize button to keep UniUploader running in the background so your character data and guild addons will automatically be updated every time you log out of WoW.
Guild Addons
There are certain addons that are required for guild members, especially for raiding. UniUploader will automatically keep those addons up to date. However, UniUploader may optionally keep additional addons up to date automatically whenever you upload your data. To select which addons you'd like, double click the UniUploader task icon in the lower right if your Windows screen (see image above). Then click the Show Addons button:
You will see a list of addons that UniUploader can keep up to date for you. Addons in red are required, and will always be kept up to date. However, you may select additional addons by clicking a check mark next to the appropriate box.
If there are addons that you feel would be beneficial to add to this list, make a post in the web site forum, or send an in-game email to Feithar.
