Raven God

The Raven God is a new boss in Heroic Sethek Halls, which must be killed for the Druid Epic Flight Form quest. The following is taken from a post by Mediic on the WoW official forums.

Abilities
- Feather Cyclone - Targets a random party member (minus tank) and puts them in a cyclone for 8 seconds. Mass dispel works, not worth the mana
- Spell Bomb - Debuff on a random caster. For the ~10 second duration if you cast any heal or nuke you will be knocked over and you take damage and mana burn (1:1 for the ammount you heal/nuke I think the debuff said). Very nasty.
- Charge - Charges a random party member for a bit over 1k damage on cloth then returns to the tank.
- Banish/Spawn Birds - At 77% then 33% he will banish himself and spawn a ton of non elite crows. The crows do around 300 damage on cloth. They are vulnerable to fear, but its recommended that you just AoE them down together.
Bird Statues
There are three friendly NPC birds around the room that appear to be banished. Each of these birds will come to life and help the group if they have a druid HoT on them. They are named something like Falcon Spirit, Eagle Spirit and Hawk Spirit.
- The one on the left makes the boss do 500 less damage I think.
- The one on the right has an aura that does 300 DPS to enemies in the room.
- The one at the back of the room gives a 10% damage boost or something crap.
Group Makeup
- 1x Tank - Undergeared Druid in bear worked fine.
- 2x DPS - At least one should be capable of some nice AoE damage. Warlock spamming seed of corruption/shadowfury worked fine.
- 2x Healers - At least one needs to be a druid so they can keep HoTs on the bird statues. I off-healed fine as a shadow priest with a crappy heal set.
Strategy
Tank and spank down to 77%. If a healer/caster is afflicted by Spell Bomb STOP casting, make sure the other healer picks up the slack - he can hit pretty hard.He will then banish and birds will start flying down (you can dps them as theyre flying). AoE the birds down as best you can. Make sure there is a druid keeping a HoT on the right statue which will help in AoEing down the pack of birds. If you don't DPS them fast enough, make sure the tank picks up the boss while you finish them off.
Repeat. He will banish at 33%. Kill birds. Finish off the boss.
Notes
- If there's a feral druid, shift out and innervate a healer when he banishes.
- Make sure youre ready to heal the AoEers when the birds land.
- Try keep the left and right birds up at all times. Rank 1 regrowth is the best option because of the duration.
- You don't need super DPS to kill him, he has pretty low HP - just play it smart.
- If you have spell bomb on you, take that time to bandage yourself or someone who needs it.
